Privacy notice

Last updated: 17 August 2026

This notice explains how OpenProspector handles information when you visit the website, use an invited workspace account or contact support.

Information we handle

We may handle account details such as your name, business email address, role and authentication records; service activity such as searches, saved lists and administrative actions; technical and security logs; and the information you send when requesting support.

Prospect information

The service organises professional and company information for B2B research. Prospect records may include business contact details, role, employer, company attributes, public professional links, verification signals and research context. A prospect is identified by a normalised business email, while one company may be associated with many distinct people.

Why information is used

Information is used to provide and secure the service, maintain data quality, support authorised users, investigate faults and abuse, and improve prospect search and research. We do not ask users for mailbox passwords or third-party account passwords.

Sharing and processors

We use infrastructure and service providers to host, secure and operate OpenProspector. Information is shared only as needed to provide those functions, meet legal obligations or protect the service and its users.

Retention and security

Records are retained for as long as needed for the service, security, audit and legal purposes. Access is permissioned, and sensitive service areas require authentication. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

For an access, correction, deletion, suppression or other data enquiry, email support@openprospector.app. Please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant record and understand your request.
